Be green, be party, be Nove Colli! This is the official motto for the 49th edition of this top Granfondo event, which will officially take place on May 19, 2019.

For this new edition as well, the G.C. Fausto Coppi and all of Cesenatico are ready to welcome thousands of cyclists and enthusiasts from all over the world for a weekend of celebrations and sport.

The first date to mark on your calendars is the Click-day on November 6, starting at 12 p.m. on the website www.novecolli.it, which is also accessible via smartphone and tablet.  The fastest 10,000 users will snap up the coveted race numbers for the 2019 Nove Colli.

Like every year, in order to speed up the registration and data input process, you can pre-register online starting on October 18th, until 10:00 a.m. on November 6th.

For the 2019 edition the registration fee has been set at €80.00 for the first 10,000 participants. From November 21st, another 2,000 race numbers can be purchased for €110.00 by taking advantage of the race number +hotel formula.

The 9 colourful starting grids have been confirmed.  At dawn on May 19th, the sea of cyclists will take off along the Portocanale in Cesenatico, flooding the Romagna countryside along the two routes. The shorter route is 130 km while the longer one covers 205 km, and both arrive at the Carducci seaside promenade, where the Pasta Party will welcome all participants.

Green is the keyword for 2019. The Nove Colli has always been attentive to environmental awareness and the good rules of cycling; so as of this new edition there will be even more checks in the race, with a “Green Team” ready to patrol the routes.

Through photos, videos and official complaints, those who throw paper and trash in areas where it is prohibited can be penalized and fined. In fact, according to the official rules and regulations, these actions can lead to the irrevocable disqualification from the current edition, as well as the next one.

So, mark your calendar for November 6th, when a new chapter in the oldest Granfondo event in the world will be written!
